THE WINTER EDIT
Winter is a season for attention
This season always makes me more selective. Not in a dramatic way. Just quieter.
I notice what I actually return to when the days get shorter, and what I’m happy to let wait.
The winter edit comes from that place. A few things I’ve been choosing lately - in the glass, at the table, around the house.
SEE
Winter stretches the night.
The city lights up. Windows, streetlights, interiors - light becomes intentional.
You start to notice where it’s warm. Where people gather. What’s open late - and what isn’t.
Seeing changes in winter. You look for what’s lit.
A simple object
A single candle, lit before sunset - it hypnotizes me. It instantly brings calm.
I light a candle and that’s the shift - time to cook, or unwind, or just slow things down.
It’s not background. It’s company.
TASTE
Cold evenings call for wines with structure. And that means one thing:
Barolo
It opens slowly, holds its shape, and stays with you through the evening.
Just - don’t rush it. This is not a glass before bed. This wine needs time and attention.
The character
Barolo opens gradually. It’s layered, deep, and patient. A wine that doesn’t rush -and doesn’t need to explain itself.
This is a wine for proper dinners. The kind that takes time.
Open it early in the evening.

FEEL
Winter is about texture.
Weight. Warmth.
Knits that hold their shape. Fabrics you could sink into with a glass in hand.
Pieces chosen to be used - not just noticed.
A tactile essential
A wool blanket. Just that.
Heavy. Lived-in. Chosen, not accidental.
Thrown over the couch, without precision.
Klein Studio: where wine meets life.
Spring will arrive soon.
You’ll know when it does.
